A list of healthy foods to eat during pregnancy. Pregnancy is a wonderful part of the human lifecycle but can be very straining on the female body. The body will need more nutrients so that it can support the growth of a healthy baby, and be a strong and healthy mother.
Taking supplements in pills are synthetic and often have side effects, so it’s important to eat the right foods rich in nutrients. In today’s video we will share with you a list of the best foods for pregnant women to eat.
1. Eggs Eggs contain all the building blocks of life are a key source of nutrients. They are rich in proteins, amino acids, vitamins and minerals which help the cells to heal and grow.
2. Salmon Wild caught salmon is rich in Vitamin A which is important for growing new cells in children. It tells the cells what to form into such as heart tissue, spinal tissue etc… A deficiency in Vitamin A can lead to miscarriage and underweight children.
3. Cod Liver Oil To boost your levels of Vitamin A, we highly recommend taking virgin cod liver oil capsules. Icelandic sources are the healthiest. These also strengthen eye health in both mother and baby.

11. Ginger Tea Morning sickness and feeling sick is very common when pregnant. A cup of ginger root tea a few times per week can prevent this from happening. It also helps to soothe digestion.
12. Coconut Oil Switch out the vegetable oil and start cooking with extra virgin coconut oil. This supports a strong immune system to prevent infections during pregnancy. It also improves brain health and development in both mother and child.
